Disclaimer & Assumption of Risk

What MudCrab Labs is
MudCrab Labs sells software. That is the entirety of our role. We design and license general-purpose tools and make them available for purchase. We are a vendor, and nothing more.
This document sets out, in plain terms, the line between what we do and what you do. It is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service and applies to every product, purchase, and interaction with MudCrab Labs. If any part of it conflicts with a more specific provision elsewhere in our policies, the provision that is more protective of MudCrab Labs controls.
The software is a neutral tool
Our software is a tool. Like any general-purpose tool, its features are neutral: they do not choose how they are used. A tool can be used well or badly, lawfully or unlawfully, within a platform's rules or against them. That choice does not belong to the tool, and it does not belong to the maker of the tool. It belongs to the person operating it.
We make no assumption about how you will use what you buy, and we build, sell, and price our software on the understanding that the choice of use, and the responsibility for it, is entirely yours.
You are the operator
When you use our software, you are the operator. You decide whether to run it, where to run it, when to run it, and what to do with it. You direct every action it takes on your behalf.
MudCrab Labs does not operate the software for you. We do not sit at the controls, we do not supervise your session, and we do not monitor, review, or direct what you do. We have no ability and no obligation to intervene in your use. Everything the software does under your control is your act, not ours.
No encouragement, endorsement, or solicitation
We do not encourage, endorse, promote, request, require, or solicit any particular use of our software. We do not ask you to break the rules of any game or platform, and we do not ask you to break any law. If you choose to do so, that is your decision alone, made without any encouragement from us.
Nothing on our website, in our marketing, in our documentation, in our support channels, or in the software itself should be interpreted as advice, instruction, or encouragement to engage in any specific use, lawful or otherwise. The availability of a feature is not a recommendation that you use it in any particular way.
You assume all risk
You knowingly, voluntarily, and expressly assume all risk arising from your use of our software. You accept that you use it entirely at your own risk and on your own responsibility.
You understand and accept, without limitation, that: your use may violate the rules or terms of service of a game or platform, including Roblox; your use may be detected at any time; detection or use may result in warnings, suspensions, permanent bans, loss of virtual items, currency, progress, or accounts, or other action against you; your use may expose you to legal or regulatory consequences pursued by third parties; and your use may cause you financial, personal, or reputational harm. You accept every one of these outcomes as a risk you have chosen to take.
This assumption of risk is a material and bargained-for part of your agreement with MudCrab Labs. Our prices are set on the basis that you, and not we, bear these risks.
Third-party platforms and games
MudCrab Labs is an independent vendor. We are not affiliated with, authorised by, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected to Roblox Corporation or to any other game developer, publisher, anti-cheat provider, or platform operator. Their names and trademarks, where used, are used only to identify compatibility and remain the property of their respective owners.
Those third parties set their own rules and enforce them on their own terms. They may change those rules, change their detection systems, and take action against users at any time and without notice. We have no control over their decisions and no ability to reverse them. Any action a third party takes against you is between you and that third party. MudCrab Labs is not a part of it and bears no responsibility for it.
No responsibility for your conduct or its consequences
You are solely and fully responsible for your own conduct and for every consequence of your use of our software. MudCrab Labs accepts no responsibility and no liability for what you choose to do with what you buy, or for anything that happens to you or to anyone else as a result.
This allocation of responsibility applies regardless of whether a particular use was permitted or prohibited under our Acceptable Use Policy. The existence of permitted uses does not make any use risk-free, and the fact that a use is technically possible does not make it our responsibility.
As is, with no warranty
The software is provided strictly on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis, with all faults and without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MudCrab Labs disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and any warranty that the software will be effective, undetectable, uninterrupted, secure, or compatible with any game, platform, or system at any time.
We make no promise that the software will work against any particular anti-cheat system or detection mechanism, or that it will continue to function as any third-party system evolves. The technical landscape changes constantly, and any effectiveness at one moment is not a promise of effectiveness at any other.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MudCrab Labs and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and agents shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any damages of any kind arising out of or relating to your use of the software, whether direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive, and regardless of the theory of liability. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you actually paid us for the relevant product in the twelve months preceding the claim. The fuller limitation of liability in our Terms of Service applies in addition to this section.
Machine lock and self-protection
To protect our intellectual property and enforce your license, the software locks to a single machine, requires an active internet connection to validate your license, and includes integrity, anti-tamper, and license-validation measures. It will not run offline or on a machine other than the one it is bound to.
When the software detects tampering, reverse engineering, an invalid, expired, or revoked license, unauthorised hardware, or an unauthorised environment, it may cease operating and may automatically delete itself and its own components, configuration, and locally stored credentials from your device. It acts only on its own files and data for this purpose and does not target your unrelated files.
You acknowledge and consent to this behaviour, you understand that it is a deliberate and disclosed part of how the software works, and you accept sole responsibility for backing up anything of your own before installing or running it. MudCrab Labs is not liable for any loss you attribute to this self-protection behaviour operating as described.
Acknowledgement
By purchasing or using any MudCrab Labs product, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Disclaimer & Assumption of Risk, that you accept the allocation of responsibility and risk it describes, and that you are entering into your purchase on that basis.
