Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ('AUP') sets out the rules for using MudCrab Labs software and services. It is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service. Using our software means you agree to this policy.

Our software provides game-enhancement tools for the games we support. We take misuse seriously and will act swiftly to enforce this policy. Setting rules for how our software may be used does not mean we monitor, supervise, or control your use of it, and it does not shift any responsibility for your conduct onto us.

Our software is licensed for personal use with the games it supports. Your license lets you install and run the software on your own device, for your own personal gameplay, on the number of devices allowed by your license tier.

Using our software may breach the terms of service of the games or platforms you use it with, including Roblox, and may result in account bans or other action against you. Whether and how you use the software's features is your decision and your responsibility alone. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use is lawful, and you accept the full risk of any consequence that follows.

Regardless of anything else in this policy, you may not use our software for any of the following:

Illegal activity: any use that violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.

Fraud or impersonation: using the software to deceive, defraud, or impersonate another person, institution, financial service, or government body in a way that causes harm.

Facilitating harm: assisting or enabling any other person to conduct any activity that is itself prohibited under this policy.

Unauthorised access: gaining or facilitating unauthorised access to systems, networks, servers, or accounts that you do not own or have explicit authorisation to access.

Harassment or abuse: using our software in connection with harassing, stalking, threatening, doxxing, defrauding, or abusing any individual.

Harm to minors: any use that endangers, exploits, or targets a minor in any way.

Resale and redistribution: selling, lending, sublicensing, publishing, or otherwise redistributing our software or your license to any third party.

Reverse engineering: decompiling, disassembling, or reverse engineering the software, or attempting to extract its source code, except to the extent this restriction is expressly prohibited by applicable law.

Bypassing license protection: attempting to circumvent, disable, or interfere with any license validation, activation, encryption, watermarking, anti-piracy, integrity, anti-tamper, or self-protection mechanism, or attempting to prevent the software from performing its integrity checks or self-removal.

Sharing or evading access controls: sharing, reselling, or publishing account credentials, license keys, redeem codes, or Discord invitations; or attempting to bypass whitelist, slot, membership, or hardware-binding controls that gate access to a product or community.

Access to our Discord server and other community spaces is a privilege, not a right, and is subject to this policy and to the rules posted in those spaces. You must not harass, threaten, defraud, impersonate, or abuse other members or our staff, post illegal content, spam, or disrupt the operation of the community.

Invitations to private or restricted spaces are personal to you. You must not share, sell, or publish invites except where we expressly permit it. We may remove you from any community space, revoke your invitations, and suspend or revoke your license for conduct that violates this policy, at our sole discretion and without refund.

MudCrab Labs makes no representation or warranty that our software will be effective against, or undetectable by, any particular anti-cheat system, detection mechanism, game engine, or platform at any point in time. The technical landscape changes continuously, and compatibility or effectiveness with any specific system cannot be guaranteed.

Any decision to use our software in a context where detection or use would have consequences is made entirely at your own risk.

You are solely responsible for all consequences arising from your use of our software. This includes, without limitation: bans, suspensions, or loss of items, currency, or accounts imposed by game developers or platform operators; legal action taken against you by third parties; regulatory investigations or penalties; and any financial, personal, or reputational harm you suffer.

MudCrab Labs accepts no liability for any consequence arising from your use, regardless of whether that use was permitted or prohibited under this policy. The existence of permitted uses does not mean any particular use is safe, lawful, or free of risk. Our full position on this is set out in our Disclaimer & Assumption of Risk.

We monitor for abuse reports and take them seriously. Violations may result in immediate and permanent suspension or revocation of your license, without notice and without refund.

We cooperate fully with lawful requests from law enforcement and competent authorities. Where we become aware of use that may constitute a criminal offence, we may report it to the relevant authorities at our discretion.

Decisions about enforcement are made at our sole discretion. A revoked license does not entitle the user to a refund.
